Will the session go ahead in bad weather?

In line with the forest school philosophy, Nature and Nurture will run sessions in all weathers except high winds (0ver 40mph) and lightening. Sessions may be cancelled when this kind of weather occurs. Nature & Nurture will alert you at the earliest opportunity via text or email and give you with a full refund for that session.

Can I get a refund if I cannot attend a session I have already booked?

Unfortunately, if you cannot attend a session due to sickness, holiday or other commitments, Nature & Nurture cannot issue a refund. If you fail to attend a session without warning this will be deemed a cancellation and you will forfeit 100% of the session cost.

There will be no refunds for holiday sessions.

If you know in advance that you will be unable to attend a session you can swap to another session (weekly term time sessions) within one month, subject to availability. Please contact Nature & Nurture to do this.

Alternatively, you could ‘gift’ your place to a friend. Please ensure Nature & Nurture are informed and your friend’s details are emailed to the leader (including the name of parent, child, age, any allergies etc., email address and mobile number) before the session.

Where is the site?

The site is located at Northallerton Secret Garden. This is just off the High Street. You can access it from the High Street by going under the arch between Kitson’s butchers and Ramsden’s Pawnbrokers. Go down the alley and in front of you is the Zion United Reform church. To the left is a wrought iron gate. There is a circular red plaque on the wall. This is the Secret Garden.

What about insurance?

Nature & Nurture has full public liability insurance.

Are there toilets?

Toilets located in the Zion Church Hall can be used during the sessions.
